Cancellation & No Show Policy

We understand that sometimes life can be unpredictable. If, for whatever reason, you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please inform us at least 48 hours prior.  All appointments cancelled within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a 50% fee.  Should you fail to let us know and do NOT attend your appointment you will be charged 100% of all treatments booked. We have a few options for paying the deposit to secure your appointment. You can provide your credit card details, which will be securely stored and charged in the event of a cancellation or no-show, you can choose to make the payment over the phone or through a payment link that will be sent to you when you schedule the appointment. By leaving your credit card details, you can conveniently secure future appointments without the hassle of making a deposit. It ensures that your desired time slot is reserved exclusively for you, allowing us to better manage our schedule and accommodate other clients.  Rest assured, your card information will be securely stored and only charged in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.

If you are unable to attend your appointment due to an unexpected event or illness, the deposit can be refunded under special circumstances. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we are committed to working with our clients to ensure fairness and flexibility in these situations.


Late Arrivals

We makeevery effort to avoid long waiting periods in the clinic and provide the most exquisite experience and in return we kindly ask our clients to be on time for their appointments. If you are running more than 5 minutes late, please let us know as soon as possible. The treatment you are booked in for may need to be adjusted to a shorter timeframe.

If you arrive later than 10 minutes after your appointment was due to begin, you will be required to reschedule and will be charged for the treatment. Two or more cases of late arrivals will result in a small fee added to your bill. If our therapists are able to accommodate some of your treatment but not all, please note that 100% of the treatment will be charged.


Service Guarantee

We always strive to provide excellent service and maintain a 100% 5 star client satisfaction rate. The treatment guarantee is in place to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of satisfaction and that their needs are met. We take pride in delivering exceptional service, and if for any reason a client is not fully satisfied with their treatment, we are committed to addressing their concerns and finding a solution. This guarantee reflects our dedication to providing a positive and enjoyable experience for everyclient who walks through our doors. In the rare instance of an unsatisfactory experience, we are committed to providing you with the required correction within 7 days of the initial treatment. However,we do ask our clients to notify us within 24 hours after the initial treatment took place. Our client’s satisfactory in service is our highest priority and we would not want for you to be unsatisfied. If a client is not fully satisfied with their treatment, we have a process in place to address their concerns.


Mobile Phones

Our clinic is a place of comfort and relaxation. We politely ask our clients to refrain from phone conversations whilst inour clinic. We appreciate and thank you for your understanding as phone conversations can disrupt the peaceful environment and diminish the overall experience for other clients seeking comfort and relaxation. By refraining from phone conversations, you contribute to maintaining a serene atmosphere where everyone can fully enjoy their time at our clinic.


Pre-paid Courses

All pre-paid courses or treatments have a validity of 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. Oncethe treatment course begins, no refunds will be given. If for any reason a particular course must be terminated due to unforeseen circumstances, the cost of all treatments already taken (at full price) will be deducted from the cost initially paid and a final balance will be available for you to use on other treatments only. We are unable to use the final balance towards products.


Consultation Form

With each treatment you will be required to fill in our mandatory consultation form. We always prioritize health, safety and comfort of our clients. Therefore we ask that you always notify your therapist of any existing medical conditions and/or known allergies.  Understanding our clients’ health history is an important factor in delivering a safe and comfortable experience, as well as a satisfying result. Sometimes even the smallest changes in body chemistry can affect the results of our treatments. Hence, we politely ask that you inform us of any allergies, physical issues, current medications and/or pregnancy. We carry out thorough consultations and all information provided to us by our clients are safely stored, meets all legislation and is 100% confidential.


Gift Vouchers

Term & Conditions of Gift Vouchers 

1. All Gift Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-replaceable.

2. Gift Vouchers cannot be used against retail products or new voucher purchases. Vouchers must be used for full priced treatments only.

3. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

4. All treat card points will be allocated to the person using the voucher as payment. The person purchasing the voucher CANNOT receive the treat card points.

5. Where a Gift Voucher Holder wishes to use the Gift Voucher towards treatments which are lower than the face value of the voucher, no change can be given but the remaining balance will remain on the Gift Voucher and can be used as full or part payment towards a future visit.

6. Skin + Wax Clinic may vary these terms & conditions for legal, security or regulatory reasons or may suspend or discontinue the Gift Voucher scheme where necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

7. Expired gift vouchers cannot be used without exception & we advise clients to book at least 1 month prior to expiry.

8. If our prices change after gift vouchers have been sold & a client presents a voucher for a treatment, the difference must be paid by the person redeeming the voucher.

9. Any appointments booked with a gift voucher as payment – no show or cancellations less than 48 hours notice will become invalid. Please refer to our cancellation policy.

10. No voucher can be used on any special offers.

11. Repeated cancellations and appointment changes can result in the invalidation of the gift voucher used as payment. Skin + Wax Clinic has a strict policy that any appointments booked with a gift voucher must adhere to a 48-hour cancellation notice. Failure to provide proper notice or repeated cancellations can render the voucher invalid and the client will not be able to use it for future visits.


Children

As we are concerned with you and your children’s safety we strictly prohibit children within our clinic. Our clinic is a place of escape and we want you to relax and enjoy.  Not allowing children in the clinic is primarily for the safety and relaxation of our clients. We believe that bringing children into the clinic can be distracting and disruptive to both the clients and our team.  Having this policy in place will ensure a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere where clients can fully unwind and enjoy their treatments.


Our Right to Refuse a Service

We have the right to refuse a treatment if the client:
  • is suspected to be under the age
  • has health issues that may affect or be affected by the treatments provided
  • has purposely hidden information of crucial meaning to the treatments provided
  • did not show up for their last appointment

Price Increases

As of 1st July, 2024 there will be a price increase for all treatments due to various factors, such as rising operating costs, increased demand for services, and/or the introduction of new treatments and technologies. Other factors contributing to the price increase may include inflation, changes in market conditions, the cost of maintaining high-quality products and equipment, and the need to compensate for any additional expenses incurred in order to meet regulatory requirements or ensure the safety and satisfaction of our clients.

These factors can impact the overall expenses of running the clinic and providing high-quality services, which may necessitate adjustments in pricing to ensure continued sustainability and quality care for clients.

Finally, as the demand for services increases, the clinic may not be able to keep up with the demand, resulting in longer wait times and a decrease in the quality of services. These price increases are necessary to maintain the quality of our services and ensure that we can continue to provide exceptional care to our clients. We understand that it may be inconvenient for some, but we strive to offer competitive and fair pricing while delivering the best possible results.
